PLAYING BACKGROUND
Former NCAA Division I pitcher at the University of Delaware. Selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 19th round of the 2013 MLB Draft and went on to play professional baseball internationally

COACHING EXPERIENCE
Founder and Head Coach of Long Island Barrels, focused on player development, pitching, arm care, preparation, and helping players reach the next level

PLAYING BACKGROUND
Former Division I baseball player at Columbia University, where he served as team captain and earned All-Ivy honors. He also competed in professional baseball and represented Team Israel internationally, including at the Olympics.

COACHING EXPERIENCE
College baseball recruiting advisor at College Athlete Advantage, helping players and families navigate the recruiting process and find the right college program.

JOSH FERRO

COACH & INSTRUCTOR

PLAYING BACKGROUND
Former professional baseball player and current coach and instructor. Josh played at Richmond Hill High School and Castleton University before continuing his career at SUNY Purchase. He also played professionally in Italy and the Empire League.

COACHING EXPERIENCE
Josh brings his professional playing experience into coaching and player development. He currently works as a teacher, coach, and private baseball instructor with the Barrels.
